Works fine, although needs redoing after month's use of repaired item, good that it comes with brush and little wooden spatula as that helps manipulate the torn leather. I was repairing my steering wheel.

When I purchased this I was concerned as it didn’t mention the size of the subpatch but I thought I’d take a chance as I didn’t need a huge amount for my leather jacket repair. I was disappointed when it arrived as it was only an 11cm square (I used half in my repair; the remaining half and the glue is in the photo). Theres still plenty of glue left, so they could probably provide twice as much material for repairs (or a couple of purchase options with different sizes of subpatch). That said, the kit was well put together with a guide sheet, spreader, glue pot with brush attached to the lid.

Follow the instructions to get the best results. I had a tear on the sleeve of my jacket, about 3 inches long. Following the instructions, i cut the cloth that was sent with the kit, larger than the rip. Put this in place under the rip, and applied the glue to the underside of the leather that was ripped. pushed the rip down onto the cloth that was tucked under it, and made sure that both sides married up as near as possible and then applied pressure for 10 mins. I was surprised at how well this came out, as the rip is not noticeable. Only downside is that the cloth that comes with the kit is about 10cm x 8cm and should be at least twice that.

Used to stick my sofa that is showing wear and had a tear. Fairly easy to use and has stuck the tear very well. You can feel where it is if you run hand over it but can’t feel it to sit on or with a casual glance, used on a dark brown leather sofa and hasn’t altered any colours. Need to be precise with your positioning when sticking but as long as you do that the end result should be good.
