The kit itself is pretty good, you get a bunch of colours that you can mix to get the exact colour and tone you need. The product title doesn't match the instructions though? Have a look at the picture I added, number 5 on the list of "warm tips" says it really. I got this for the patches appearing on our brown real leather sofa but daren't use it because of this. Thankfully that "warm tip" was read before I started. Overall a good kit though, and with all the colours should be able to patch up your sofa, providing it's not actually leather.

This arrives in a small plastic sealed full colour printed box measuring approx 18cm x 12cm x 4cm. Inside the box you get 40ml tubes of Black, White, Tan, Walnut & Eelhoe (a fairly dark brown, described as chocolate in the instructions), each with applicator nozzle tips. All can be mixed together to better colour match your particular item. You also get instructions in English, German, French, Italian & Spanish, although the English instructions are both sides of an A4 sheet, while the others are half a side of A4, so not as comprehensive. They read as if they have originally been written in another language first, then translated fairly well (but not brilliantly) into English. Along with these, you get a small piece of bottom cloth (you put it behind larger holes you want to fill, under the original surface you are trying to repair so there is something between the filling of your sofa etc.. & the repair stuff.), a couple of application sponges, a very small lidded tub for mixing, a little brush & stirring spatula. Repairs can take up to 48 hours (apply, leave 24 hours, reapply, leave another 24 hours for larger repairs) & the instructions are a little confusing about times, but I would stick to the max times even for small repairs rather than try to use things too soon & have repairs fail due to short cure times. This is actually very straightforward to use (there is a product video showing you on the product page) & is great for small scratches. I used it to repair some lightly damaged heels on a pair of white shoes which are now back to unblemished & it has worked very well. Deeper repairs to holes will be less flexible than the leather/vinyl around them, so are probably best dealt with by a upholstery restorer.

I purchased this item but did not use within the 30days return period. When I finally got around to think about using, I read the instructions and discovered that it's only for synthetic leathers. This was no use to me and, as such, I haven't opened the product but have wasted my money.

Positives:- Fairly comprehensive Instructions enclosed, which should be strictly adhered to for the best results. Accessories included: Stirring rod for mixing, or spreading. Bottom cloth for filling cuts & holes larger than1/4 inch. Mixing tank for mixing, or blending new colours. Smear brush for detail repair, or even application. 2 rectangular sponges for smoothing, smearing or edge finishing. Negatives:- Kit contained 5 x 40ml tubes comprised of 2 different brands. Endhokn brand - 1 tube each of black, tan, and white. Eelhoe brand - 2 tubes of an identical, but unnamed colour, which is some sort of dark brown. Observations:- Came reasonably well protected against damage, during transit from the manufacturer to the end user, in a shrink-wrapped cardboard box, inside which the 5 tubes and instructions were loose, whilst the accessories were packed in a self-seal clear plastic bag. Conclusion:- Fortunately, black is the colour I wanted the most, to repair some damaged black vinyl trim on the inside of my car’s front passenger door. However, I think it is unacceptable that only 4 of the advertised colours were included, and, also, very strange that the 2 tubes of an identical, but unnamed colour, were of a completely different brand, especially as the cardboard box was shrink-wrapped, presumably by the manufacturer.

Gute Abdeckkraft. Es hält was es verspricht. Jedoch ein hartnäckiger Riss in Leder(Sitzfläche) welches immer Luft freilassen muss wegen Gewichtbelasstung ,kann es nicht überwinden. Die Elastizität hält nicht. Der Riss meldet sich.
